Bed and breakfasts will bargain with you on the room rate if you arrive very late (like 11-12 PM). Sometimes you can cut the room rate in half! Be firm with them. If they won't bargain with you, tell them you are going to the Bed and breakfast XYZ where they always cut you a deal and remind them that at 11 PM the bed and breakfast has little chance of renting the room. Remind them that something is better than nothing!
